Spinal Needle Removal in the Thoracolumbar Spine. Case Report
Abstract
Catheter fractured or sheared off in spinal canal are very infrequently and there is not clear consensus regarding its treatment. The literature advocates the bullet fragment removal in cases of fire gun injuries, especially when they are close to spinal cord region. The same should be done in the presence of a needle into the spinal canal. In this article, we present the case of a patient with disabling leg radicular pain caused by a spinal needle fragment after cesarean, into the spinal canal.Downloads
