The Revista de la Asociación Argentina de Ortopedia y Traumatología is an open-access journal, for no fee, i.e. all the journal contents are available for users free of charge.

Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, conduct search for, or link the unabridged article-texts as long as they quote the publication, or use them with whichever valid purpose without asking for authorization from neither the journal nor the article-authors. Authors are allowed and encouraged to broadcast their work on the internet (e.g. on social media, on personal web pages) what, needless to say, can promote lively debate and increase the quotation of the published work.

The acceptance of the article by the journal implies that the author/s have not presented it simultaneously to other journals or editorial bodies, as well as the non-exclusive transference of patrimonial rights from the author/s to the editor, who allows the (post-print) re-use of the article after its publication under the Creative-Commons-Attribution-Non-Commercial-ShareAlike-4.0 International (CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0) license https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ (view Open access, intellectual property and use licenses); this one allows the share, copy, distribution, alteration, transformation, generation of a derivative work, execution and public communication of the work as long as a) the authorship and the original source of publication (journal, editorial and work URL) are quoted, and b)  the same license conditions are applied. The transference of rights from the author/s to the editors provides the latter with authorization for the work to be filed in the Revista de la Asociación Argentina de Ortopedia y Traumatología and broadcast through the database that the editor considers appropriate for indexation and social media use so as to increase the visibility of the publication and that of its authors.
