Sacroiliac joint tuberculosis. Case report and bibliographic review
Abstract
La tuberculosis es una de las principales causas infecciosas de muerte a nivel mundial a pesar de que existe tratamiento específico. La sacroileitis representa el 10% de la afectación ósea en tuberculosis y permanece siendo una entidad de difícil diagnóstico y de tratamiento controversial. A continuación presentamos el caso de una mujer de 40 años de edad que comienza con dolor lumbar bajo, asociado a tumoración y fiebre. Luego de una demora inicial se realiza el diagnóstico por punción biopsia. Recibe tratamiento médico. El conocimiento de esta enfermedad facilitara el diagnostico temprano y su tratamiento. Se discute la presentación clínica, métodos auxiliares de diagnóstico y revisión bibliográfica de la entidad y su tratamiento.Downloads
